LeRoi Moore

His famous sax solo on "What Would You Say" should go down in history as one of the best, and most well-known sections of popular music of all time.

Now, the band who themselves have become incredibly recognized nationwide is a man down.

LeRoi Moore, saxophonist for The Dave Matthews Band, died at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles, the band said on its Web site. He was 46.

Moore was hospitalized after an all-terrain vehicle accident on his farm outside Charlottesville, Va in June. Most recently he had undergone rehabilitation when complications forced him back into the office.

Dave Matthews Band is currently touring the nation and according to the band's publicist Ambrosia Healy, had no plans to cancel shows.
