Theatre of the Republic
Under the direction of Tim McGhee comes the hit classic Cabaret. A sweet combination of comedy, song and dance this play takes place during the Nazi era. This play depicts those who choose to take a blind I to the horrors that were occurring in Germany, via the live entertainment at a local restaurant/nightclub/brothel.
With the guidance of a drag queen emcee, the audience depicts how everyone deals or doesn’t deal with the Nazi movement. From the choreography to the costumes this is one of the must see shows of the year. Best of all, they’ve added a third week of shows which gives you plenty opportunity to be entertained.
The Theatre of Republic will also offer Kiss Me, Kate and Holiday Main Street Joy to the World later this year.
