ZOSO's lead man
Plant, Page, Bonham and Jones are at Hard Rock Park all this week! Well, kind of.
To the untrained eye, the four rockers on Hard Rock’s main stage might as well be legendary British rock group Led Zeppelin, considered by many the greatest rock group ever. In actuality, it’s the Zeppelin tribute band ZOSO, named after the classic album “Four” which depicts the glyph in black and white.

ZOSO looks and sounds exactly like Zeppelin. Forming in 1995, the foursome started together in Los Angeles with the idea to create an accurate portrayal of the legendary rockers.
Their reputation and following has won them an award from Rock City News (L.A.) as the best tribute act in California and has also kept the band in constant demand. Aside from three west coast tours, in 1996 the band went on a 42-date tour of the Midwest and southeast U.S. All in all, the band has done 1,700 shows in just under 11 years.
Monday night at Hard Rock, with less than 40 people in the rows of chairs set up on the concrete, ZOSO took the stage amidst fog and fluorescent stage lights. By the third ballad, the look on many faces was a blown away, jaw-dropped stare comparable to that hypnosis subjects.
ZOSO won them over and had many screaming for an encore after the final song “Cashmere” ended. The show lasted about 50 minutes and only featured approximately five tracks. Though the talent of the individual musicians is what truly stood out. For at least five minutes, the band-mates serving as Robert Plant and Jimmy Page left the stage to a keyboard and drum solo worthy standing ovation. The crowd agreed.
ZOSO will play Hard Rock Park until Aug. 8 before they leave for Florida. Experience it.
