The Stardusters Big Band will perform a concert of Christmas and holiday favorite songs in the style of swing and jazz on Sunday evening, Dec. 17, at 6:30 p.m. The concert will be at Grand Strand Community Church in Surfside, 3820 Holmestown Road, Myrtle Beach.

The performance will include interesting narration about the origin of these familiar tunes and will answer questions like when and where was Silent Night first performed and what Christmas song was written as the result of a blistering heat wave? Featured vocalist, Terri Stephens, will entertain the audience with several songs including Christmas Time is Here, Waitin’ for the Man with the Bag, and White Christmas. The concert promises to be one that will really lift your holiday spirits.
