Another non-stop route is added to Myrtle Beach International Airport.

Beginning June 4, American Airlines will offer a new nonstop air service between Myrtle Beach International and New York LaGuardia.

The service will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays. American Airlines will use a Canadair Regional Jet 200 for these flights.

“We are thrilled American Airlines is introducing new service from New York LaGuardia to Myrtle Beach International Airport,” stated Pat Apone, director of airports for Horry County Department of Airports. “American Airlines existing service from Charlotte, Philadelphia, Washington, DC and now New York LaGuardia is exciting news for the airport and the traveling public.”
