Darius Rucker talks performing at the Carolina Country Music Festival for the first time

The Carolina Country Music Festival has brought some of the biggest names in country music to the Myrtle Beach area, with no end in sight.

With artists like Big & Rich, Tim McGraw and Keith Urban, the festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year, bringing concert-goers from all over the country.

2015, CCMF’s inaugural year, saw headliners Eric Church, Big & Rich, Lady Antebellum and Hunter Hayes take the stage.

In 2016, CCMF upped the stakes with Florida-Georgia Line, McGraw and Urban.

This year South Carolina natives were thrilled to learn that hometown hero Darius Rucker would be coming home, and Darius was just as happy to be returning.

“The country music festival here, yeah, it’s going to be a lot of fun I’ve been wanting to play it since they started it,” Rucker said at the Dye Club for Monday After the Masters in April.

In addition to Rucker, attendees to the show this year will be treated to Montgomery Gentry, Gretchen Wilson, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and several others.
