FREE Showing of Beauty and the Beast at McLean Park Friday September 8th

A free movie??  You read it right!

Get out your princess dresses and get ready for a night of Hollywood magic under the stars, as the public is invited to enjoy a free showing of Beauty and the Beast (PG) on Friday, September 8th at McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach.  The movie starts 15 minutes after sunset, (approximately 7:30 pm).

For those of you who live under a rock, read on for a synopsis:

Belle (played by Hermione/Emma Watson) is a bright, beautiful and independent young woman taken prisoner by a beast (Dan Stevens) in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff played by BRILLIANT actors Ewan McGregor and Ian McKellen, among others, and learns to look beyond the beast’s hideous exterior, allowing her to recognize the kind heart and soul of the true prince that hides on the inside.

Make sure to bring a beach chair or a blanket, unless you like that all-natural grass feeling. Concessions will be available courtesy of the North Myrtle Beach Lions Club.

The showing is part of the North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation Department’s Movies @ McLean series sponsored by North Strand Nissan.
