If you’re looking for one more way to get into the Halloween spirit, stop by the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center On Friday, Oct. 27 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM for a Halloween themed art show!
Presented in the form of a haunted house, visitors will walk through spooky halls into the artists’ studios and experience a guided “terror of art.” The City of North Myrtle Beach’s site promoting the event warns that that this is not for the faint-of-heart.
The artwork displayed was painted by FUNtaztic ART and Arty-O! StudiO! students, ages 4 and up, as well as instructor Artist Nina Ortiz. Some of the new, spooky artwork from the show will remain on display at The Possum Trot Art Gallery at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center.
Ticket prices are on sale now at $5 per person for this one-night-only event, and you can get them from the artists themselves or during studio hours (4:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.) Monday through Thursday at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center. Tickets will also be available at the door. Proceeds will benefit Arty-O! StudiO! Teens & Tweens art field trips.
The event is presented by North Myrtle Beach Parks & Recreation art programs, FUNtaztic ARTs, and Arty-O! StudiO!, and the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center is located at 1030 Possum Trot Road in North Myrtle Beach.
