As we celebrate the true beginning of summer this season, with the summer solstice taking place on Saturday, there’s tons of reasons to take advantage of the longest days of the year.
In addition to a continuing slate of summer series featuring great concerts, films and other family entertainment continue there are plenty of great Myrtle Beach events and things to do this week.
One of the most popular and longest-running artistic events around, Art in the Park, returns to downtown for its 42nd year this weekend, with tons of amazing creations from some of the Carolina most talented artisans.
There’s also great sporting events, including a Pelicans homestand, a home game for the Myrtle Beach Mutiny soccer team, the PGA National Professional Championship, Youth Baseball Nationals tournament and even a big event for Mixed Martial Arts fans.
