Now that summer has officially arrived and we’re inching ever closer to Independence Day — the unofficial midpoint of the tourism season — it’s time to really dig in to all the fun happening around the Grand Strand.
Getting a jump on the 4th of July holiday is one of the longest-running festivals in the area, Conway Riverfest. This annual celebration along the riverfront in historic Conway (about 15 minutes west of Mytrle Beach) features Live entertainment, food vendors, a boat parade, Raft Race and much more.
There’s also a great Italian Festival happening in Myrtle Beach at The Market Common, if meatballs and cannolis are more your style.
Of course, as always the summer brings a variety of family fun, including weekly series featuring live music, outdoor movies and other activities to keep you busy when you’re not soaking up the sun and sand.
