The first signs of spring are upon us here on the Grand Strand. From the return of the downtown parking meters (turned on beginning March 1) to the many attractions and restaurants which are beginning to open for the season, there’s plenty going on.
If you take a quick look around town you’ll notice the first spring breakers and spring golfers trailing into town, and once the weather breaks — it’s supposed to be sunny and in the upper 60s this weekend — you’ll see even more action from folks flocking to take advantage of early season deals.
Add in the fact that daylight savings time begins Sunday morning at 2 a.m. and we truly are springing forward this week, taking a giant leap towards the time many visitors and locals consider to be the best time of year.
