  • “A Crabby Experience!” 9:30-11 a.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 22 on pier, in a catch-and-release exercise, with some traps available to rent for $5 cash at 9:20 a.m.; bring bait or buy it in pier shop.)
  • “Scary Seas,” 1-2 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 15 in activity center, for ages 5 and older, showing life stories and dispelling myths about such animals as sharks, stingrays and jellyfish.
  • “Dolphin Dilemma,” 3-3:45 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 8 at activity center, for ages 5 and older.
  • “Tracks Among Us! 10-11 a.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 9 at activity center, for ages 5 and older, with creation of plaster tracks to bring home, for $5 cash each, and free to watch.
  • “Sizing Up Turtles,” 1-2 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 23 in activity center, for ages 5 and older.
  • “Through the Years,” 3-3:30 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 16 in activity center, for ages 8 and older, covering park’s history.
  • “Sounds of Nature,” 6:30-7 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 16, in activity center, for ages 5 and older.
  • “Seine-sational Fun!” 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursdays through Aug. 24, at pier, for ages 5 and older.
  • “Destination Turtle DNA,” 1-2 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 24, in activity center, for ages 8 and older.
  • “Gator Gossip,” 3-3:30 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 17, in activity center, for ages 5 and older.
  • “State Park Secrets” video, 6:30-7 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 17, in activity center.
  • “Sea Turtle Patrol,” 6:10-7:30 a.m. Fridays through Aug. 4, at pier, for ages 5 and older.
  • “Catch of the Day,” 9:30-11 a.m. Fridays through Aug. 11, in pier shelter, with observations of animals in kiddie pool.
  • “Legends of the Forest,” 1-2 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 25, in activity center, for ages 5 and older.
  • “Tales from the Sea,” 10-11 a.m. Saturdays through Aug. 19, in activity center, for ages 5 and older.
  • “Feeding Time,” 1-1:30 p.m. Saturdays through Aug. 16, in nature center.
  • “Creature Feature,” 3-3:30 p.m. Saturdays through Aug. 5, in activity center, for ages 5 and older.
  • Sundays through Aug. 13, in nature center – “A Turtle-y Journey,” 1-1:30 p.m., and “Batty over Bats,” 3-3:30 p.m.

Also, the nature center is open 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturdays, also Sundays through Aug. 13.
