Myrtle Beach SC scored another honor, coming in as the top-ranked beach in America in a survey released by TipsSpoke.com.
The website randomly polled thousands of Americans with an open question to for people to fill in their “favorite” beach.
The website posted: As we dug into this, it was clear that Myrtle won big because of all of the great activities in and around the beach.
“Myrtle Beach continues to rise in these national measurements because of what nearly 18 million visitors already know – our beaches are clean, safe and inviting,” said Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. “What truly sets the Myrtle Beach area apart from others is the fact that visitors consistently comment on two main themes: one, the vast array of attractions and events that enthrall both the young and the old, the couples and large groups; and two, the Southern hospitality visitors experience from our citizens and businesses.”
Miami Beach was second while two other Florida beaches, Clearwater and Destin, tied for third.
