Three art shows along the Grand Strand to see by fall

New art exhibits at Collectors Cafe, CCU, Georgetown library

Enjoy some new art displays, all free to see:

  • “Summer Art Show,” through Oct. 15 at Collectors Cafe & Art Gallery, 7740 N. Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, open 11:30 a.m.-midnight Mondays-Saturdays. 843-449-9370 or collectorscafeandgallery.com.
  • Contemporary, “snap line” works – made by dipping twine into thinned paint or ink and snapping the line onto the canvas to create lines and patterns – by Margi Weir, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Fridays through Aug. 25 at Coastal Carolina University’s Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery, in Edwards College, on main campus, in Conway, accessed from U.S. 501 or S.C. 544.
