Wine and Design recently opened in The Market Common on Coventry Crossing. The studio is for anyone who wants to hang out with their friends, sip the drink of their choice, and have a good time.
“It’s a paint and sip. You get to bring your own beer, wine, and enjoy a painting from a teacher who teaches you step by step from start to finish and it’s really great time,” says owner Bailey Turner. “You get to make memories with your friends and take a painting home so it’s like a souvenir.”
Wine and design is not only for a night out with friends. The studio hosts kids painting classes, bachelorette parties, anniversary parties, as well as team building opportunities for coworkers.
“We do kids classes on Saturday and we do mimosa Sunday so everything is pretty much a party even if it doesn’t technically have a theme.”
The studio also offers ‘Paint it Forwards’ which focuses on guests’ favorite charities and organizations.
“I mean there’s so much more, the possibilities are really endless,” says Turner.
Turner, a recent college graduate, studied art. Previously working in a studio, she realized that she would like to open her own one day.
That is when she decided to open her own franchise with Wine and Design, moving into the growing area of The Market Common.
“The response has been really good,” says Turner. “We’ve had a steady at least 7 to 8 people a night and then for the past four days we’ve been sold out, so 36 to 40 people.”
If you find yourself in the area make sure to check out Wine and Design in The Market Common.
As Turner says, “come down to Wine and Design on Coventry Crossing and get your art buzz on!”
