Hurricanes Daiquiri Bar & Grill serves up frozen drinks on Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

While strolling along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk you may stumble upon an establishment that has what is quite possibly the cheapest happy hour deals along those wooden planks.

You’ll find Hurricanes Daiquiri Bar & Grill next to the Gay Dolphin specialty store in a building that was formerly known as Boardwalk Bill’s.

The front is lined with windows that offer an excellent view of the ocean and you can sit outside to enjoy that ocean breeze, or you can snag a table or bar stool inside.

Hurricanes Daiquiri Bar & Grill is bright and colorful, each wall painted a different hue, and Flat panel TVs hang throughout the establishment.

This place also hosts a slew of live musical acts during the summer.

Behind the S-shaped marble bar you’ll see a number of frozen daiquiri machines serving up Fat Tuesday brand daiquiris — the Hurricane is a popular drink choice.

In addition, the Hurricane Burger, with jalapenos and pepper jack cheese, is a favorite of those looking for a bite to eat. Other popular food items include grouper and crab cakes.

For happy hour — which runs from 4-7 p.m. daily — you can cash in on reduced appetizer prices during happy hour.

Deals include $3 mozzarella sticks, $3 fried pickles, $5 wings and $5 conch fritters. Drink specials include $4 12-oz. daiquiris, $2 domestic beers, $3 house liquors and $3 house wines.

Parking downtown is free in the off-season. and during the summer you can park in the Gay Dolphin parking lot for $5.

Hurricanes Daiquiri Bar & Grill is located at 910 N. Ocean Blvd., Myrtle Beach. Call 232-7110.
