Family and friends will gather throughout the Christmas weekend in Myrtle Beach, and there’s no guarantee all will get hungry at the same time.
Myrtle Beach is home to some of the best locally owned restaurants, so call your favorite place ahead of time for their hours. We put together a list of nationally recognized brands and called their local locations to find out whether they’d be open. Here’s what we found:
Bob Evans (off U.S. 501) – Open for Christmas Eve 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Closed on Christmas Day.
Buffalo Wild Wings (Carolina Forest/U.S. 501) – Open Christmas Eve 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.
Cheeseburger in Paradise (72nd North and Kings Highway) – Open Christmas Eve 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and closed Christmas Day.
Denny’s – Open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Hard Rock Cafe (Broadway at the Beach) – Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed Christmas.
IHOP – Open Christmas Eve 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and closed Christmas Day..
McDonald’s (Back gate and U.S. 17 Bypass) – Christmas Eve will close at 9 p.m. Closed Christmas Day.
Panda Express (1598 U.S. 17 North, North Myrtle Beach) – Open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Closed Christmas.
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse – Open both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 4-10 p.m.
Ryan’s (North Myrtle Beach) – It will Close on 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Day.
Shoney’s – Traditionally open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. There was no answer at either location when we tried to confirm their hours. Call ahead.
Waffle House – Always open.
