Taco John’s, a popular Mexican quick-service brand with restaurants in 23 states, announced Dec. 18 it plans to open locations in both Carolinas and Georgia.
A press release from the company indicated that Myrtle Beach, along with Wilmington, Charleston, Savannah (Ga.) and Columbia, were among sites the company hopes to bring restaurants to.
In all, 100 new locations are planned for North and South Carolina along with Georgia.
“We can’t wait to introduce these markets to the iconic, quality food of Taco John’s,” said Caleb McMillen, chief operating officer for American Development Partners. “We have aggressive development plans for the next 24 to 36 months.”
Taco John’s franchisee, Superior Taco, has partnered with American Development Partners to develop restaurants in this area, according to the release.
More from the release: “With its fusion of distinctive flavors and south-of-the-border spices, the Taco John’s menu offers several signature items, including Meat and Potato Burritos, original Street Tacos and Potato Olés. Taco John’s also features epic specials like Taco Tuesday.”
