Memorial Day Weekend is almost upon us, which means one of the spring’s biggest events — Atlantic Beach Bikefest — is just around the corner.
As they do each spring, nearly half a million bikers, revelers and attendees will converge on the area to attend the largest African-American motorcycle rally in the U.S. and to celebrate Black Bike Week events all over the Grand Strand this weekend.
The official Atlantic Beach Bikefest runs from Friday through Monday but there’s also plenty of fun to be had outside the small north end town that serves as the rally’s epicenter.
From hanging by the beach and cruisin’ the strip downtown, to browsing the vendors at area shopping centers and partying into the wee hours at one of the area’s many nightlife spots, there’s no shortage of things to do in Myrtle Beach while you’re here.
Here’s a look at some of the hotspots you may want to check out for Black Bike Week. For a more complete listing of what’s going on, check out our Schedule of Events, our Myrtle Beach Bike Week Page or visit BlackBikeWeek.us.
