20 Best Bets for the 2017 Myrtle Beach Fall Bike Rally

Cowboy Kid Rock entertains a crowd at Suck Bang Blow during the 2016 Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally.

The 2017 Myrtle Beach Fall Bike Rally is from Oct. 2-7, and the schedule is filled with live bands, bikini contests, pudding wrestling and, we can only hope, some great weather along the Grand Strand.

Oct. 2

The Rat Hole, 3809 Socastee Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, is where we start our trek through some of the best entertainment along the beach. The bar opens Oct.  2 with chocolate pudding wrestling daily, $1 beer all day every day and a motorcycle rodeo from Oct. 4-7.

Heading further south down the Strand, be sure to check out the Fall Rally Kick Off Party at 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at O’Keefe’s Irish Pub in Murrells Inlet.

Oct. 3

At some point during your trip here, you need to make plans to see Joe Santana’s Kingfish, who will be at Suck Bang Blow in Murrells Inlet, at 2 p.m. Tuesday. No need to leave SBB, as All My Rowdy Friends will play at 8 p.m. that night, as well.

Oct. 4

By Wednesday, the competition for the almighty dollar really heats up as several businesses vie for the attention of the fall biker.

Head over to Harley’s Roadhouse in Little River for a Backyard BBQ at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Carve some time out to check out Tru Sol at 6 p.m. at Spokes and Bones Saloon in Garden City.

You’ll want to make some time Wednesday night to check out Cowboy – A Kid Rock Tribute, who hits the Suck Bang Blow stage at 8 p.m.

Oct. 5

By Thursday, you may want to venture out of the South Strand area for a bit. Sure there’s the Cruise The Loop Poker Run, which begins at 10 a.m. Thursday at Suck Bang Blow, Murrells Inlet.

In early evening, we give you the choice of heading to the Boathouse Waterway and Grill, Myrtle Beach, for Bike Nights starting at 6 p.m., or you can venture up to the House of Blues, Myrtle Beach for Bike Night on The Deck, which also begins at 6 p.m.

Oct. 6

Friday during Fall Bike Week can always be a long day, and this year is no different. There is a Scenic Rally Ride planned for 10 a.m. Friday starting at The Wicked Tuna, Murrells Inlet.

Make sure you head out to the Battle of The Baggers & Ride in Bike Show slated for 11 a.m. at Spokes and Bones Saloon in Garden City.

The Girls of Thunder present Bikinis Under The Lights beginning at 7 p.m. Friday at Suck Bang Blow, Murrells Inlet. You won’t have to travel too far to hit our 8 p.m. suggested show of Highway To Hell, who will perform at 8 p.m. at Suck Bang Blow.

If the traffic congestion is getting to you, head back to the Boathouse in Myrtle Beach, where they have their Free Show Friday with West Virginia’s own Davisson Brothers starting at 9 p.m.

Oct. 7

Saturday’s usually a great day to go riding, and even to try some of the restaurants the locals eat at.

Speaking of eating, there is a Biker Breakfast planned for 8 a.m. Saturday at Flapjack’s Pancake Cabin in Garden City.

If you missed Joe Santana’s Kingfish, they will be performing at 1 p.m. Saturday at Spokes and Bones Saloon.

Get that heart pumping as the Miss Suck Bang Blow Bikini Contest Hosted By Girls of Thunder begins at 3 p.m. Saturday at Suck Bang Blow. Rebel Son will finish off the night at Suck Bang Blow with a 10 p.m. concert.

There are many other great venues to check out, including Dead Dog Saloon and The Wild Horse Saloon, both in Murrells Inlet, and Pop’s Place in Myrtle Beach. The ones we listed had their schedules ready at time of this posting.
