The 29th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade kicked off on a cold Saturday on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach that quickly warmed up just in time for the festivities.
The event brought out roughly 30,000 to celebrate all things Irish and to welcome the coming of spring.
The parade began at 9 a.m., followed by three stages with live music and a children’s area featuring rides and amusements from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Approximately 150 vendors were on site displaying crafts, services, information, products, and a variety of treats.
