Give Ryan Kinder’s song “Close” a listen. It seems the younger demographic of country fans will like it, and the older fans will enjoy the story of its lyrics.
“Lipstick” by Runaway June will be that amped up energy song we’ll need after an exhausting weekend in the sun. This trio of talented women will rock the Jack Daniels stage with this one — mark our words.
Drake White’s “Makin’ Me Look Good Again” has that old country barroom sound. It’ll slow things down a bit, but it’ll be good to listen to before you head to the concert.
Every woman, redneck or wanna-be, will be singing Gretchen Wilson’s “Redneck Woman” — her long-time catchy tune. Afterall, it’s been awhile since Wilson’s been on tour, so it’ll be great to this song live again.
Big & Rich put on a great show, so they’ll take an honorable mention on this list PLUS they’re most known song. Watch for them to pair up with Gretchen Wilson and perform this hit: “Fake I.D.”
And ya can’t mention the guys and their band without “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy.”
In a move we don’t understand (then again, we never put together a daylong concert, let alone a four-day concert), Chris Young will sing his slow hits before the main act for Sunday. He’s got a great song called “Who I am with You,” but we think equally as entertaining will be his hit “Tomorrow.”
Some say Myrtle Beach is, in a way, a Hicktown. Either way, we turned into a “Hicktown” for four days, welcomed thousands of fans, drank plenty of beer and sure enjoyed the third annual CCMF. Jason Aldean: Take us out with a little “Hicktown.”
